Every fair has its own atmosphere, and Salon Art & Design is a very special one. Taking place in the Park Avenue Armory building, Salon embraces high-class international art and design galleries from around the world. We are happy to participate for a third consecutive year, coming back not only to dear clients, but now also to some dear friends.
WINTER GROUP EXHIBITION
р.
р.
For this exhibition we curated a selection from our designers and artists including: Femke van Gemert, Olga Engel, Vadim Kibardin, Olesya and Andriy Voznicki, Jesse Visser, Sho Ota, Jordi Sarrate, Olexandr Pinchuk, Mariekke Jansen, Jonne Stout, Moon Seop Seo, Natalie Katwal and for the first time including new works by Valeriya Isyak and Luuk van Laarhoven.
At Mia Karlova Galerie we give centre stage to collectible design, functional sculpture and mixed media contemporary art. We seek to form a dialogue between works of various genres, which look upon reuse as a conscious act of new existence. The intriguing roster of international artists consists of both established and young experimental design practices with desire to provoke new emotions.
THE GARDEN WITHIN
р.
р.
Mia Karlova Galerie presents ‘The Garden Within’, a new multidisciplinary show introducing the works of Dutch and international artists Femke van Gemert, Anastasiya Pribelskaya, Jesse Visser, Valery Pchelin, Anna Kunst and Valeriya Isyak. Paper, glass, textile, stones, crystals, porcelain feathers: each of the works invites us to reflect on the balance between our inner world and the external reality, and on how nature and art can serve as sources of renewal and regeneration.
In the world of ongoing chaos, we are trapped in the endless avalanche of disturbing information. An escapism becomes the only survival strategy. We search for the way to slow down and to hear ourselves again. We seek to restore lost connections with the nature and the world around us. Open from 28 May until 31 July, The Garden Within invites the viewer to the inner garden, a place of solitude and renewal.
The objects presented in the gallery serve as a way into this secluded inner space, where each of us finds a way to restore our emotional calmness, hide away from the streams of constantly changing visual images and go to true us. The Garden Within is a meeting of artists and designers who communicate through the language of tactile sensations, textures, and biomorphic forms, bringing to life a deep connection with nature and its rhythms.
The exhibition is co-curated by Mia Karlova and Marina Shirskaya
COLLECT ART FAIR, LONDON
р.
р.
Mia Karlova Galerie will debut at Collect 2026 with a presentation called "Beyond What Meets the Eye".
An exhibition presenting core artists from the gallery’s programme, whose practices expand the very idea of what contemporary craft can be. Their works challenge our assumptions of materiality, offering objects that resist immediate recognition and reward close attention.
Valeriya Isyak is a remarkable ceramic artist whose work truly blurs the intermedia boundaries in contemporary art. Her wall sculptures, made from thousands of hand-crafted porcelain petals, combine delicate craftsmanship with profound artistic expression.
PAD PARIS 2026
р.
р.
Mia Karlova Galerie Returns to PAD Paris 2026 with a New Curatorial Narrative of Craftsmanship, presenting a unique selection of contemporary art and collectible design. Conceived as a statement, the presentation brings together singular works defined by artistic authorship, material intelligence, and emotional presence.
Bringing together Dutch and international contemporary artists and designers, the selection presents unique works defined by a deep commitment to making. Each piece engages closely with material and form, drawing the viewer in and sustaining attention beyond the immediate moment.
During the fair, the gallery will premiere a new, spectacular porcelain triptych by Valeriya Isyak, and marble Medusas by Tommaso Spinzi, alongside a curated selection of works by Vadim Kibardin, Jesse Visser and Mariekke Jansen.
Thank you for you interest in this painting. We will be happy to discuss with you the specifics of you order. For this we ask you to fill out the form and we will contact you as soon as possible.
